Weymouth Information Shop is Officially Open
Weymouth's Deputy Mayor, Cllr Tia Roos, officially opened the Weymouth Information Shop to the public. The event was attended by local residents and many support organisations from around the area and across the county.
The shop offers a wide range of information to Weymouth's residents and visitors, about all kinds of services, activities and events.
Health, wellbeing and community information includes Age UK, Carers Support Dorset, C'siders, the Men's Shed, Citizens Advice, NHS and public sector support, and signposting to hundreds of services locally and across Dorset.
The shop also has information about local tourist attractions and events, as well as bus timetables and maps.
Weymouth Information Shop is open 10-4 from Monday through Saturday every week.
The shop is run jointly by Volunteer Centre Dorset, Weymouth Area Development Trust, Age UK NSW Dorset, and #HelpAndKindness.
